Silos should be built in the place where has convenient transportation, residential buildings and public buildings' dry district, with full possibilities of the water supply, drainage, heating, electricity and connected to other lines. To prevent steel corrosion, the silos should not be set to waterfront places. The design and construction of silo's wall strength should meet the requirements, and also make the silo wall be smooth, easily handling materials, meanwhile the layout should be reasonable in order to save floor space.

When the stores is single species or stocks is small, you should arrange with a separate warehouse. When the stores are of more varieties or large reserves, then you can arrange in groups.

The total length of the cylindrical silo generally is not more than 60 meters, the total length of the square group silos generally are not exceed 40 meters. We should take actions when silos length is too large or the force and the situation is more complex, such as expansion joints to eliminate concrete shrinkage stress and temperature stress impacts.
